We will leave from the Spartan Center at 4:00 sharp tomorrow for our matches at 5:30. Let's get a couple of solid wins before our Interim Break!
Walnut Grove High School
Take Highway 78 towards Atlanta. Exit onto Highway 138. Continue on Highway 138 through Walnut Grove. About one mile outside Walnut Grove, take a right onto Guthrie Cemetery Rd. The school is less than a mile on this road.
The school is aware that our parents would like to transport the girls from the interim trips straight to Atlanta on Friday. In order for us to do this, we will need each parent to write a note releasing your daughter to ride with one of our parent drivers. For the sophomores, Mary Beisswenger and Leslie Sinyard will transport the girls from Tallulah to Atlanta on Friday. Please send a note to Mrs. Julie Boyd, the sophomore grade level coordinator early this week.
Our first match is scheduled for 7:30 on Friday night, which should give us a chance to get checked into the hotel, get a good meal, shower and plenty of rest before our first match. I am sure we will need it after a week of fun on our interim trips.
We have a block of rooms reserved for the Doubletree - Atlanta Galleria. The rate will be $89.00 per night. To reserve a room, call the Doubletree Guest Suites at 770/980-1900 ext. 7291 to speak with Kemi Atkins. She is handling our block reservations. Also, you may take advantage of the breakfast buffet for an additional $5.00 if you like. We will eat there as a team on Saturday morning before our first match. The buffet opens at 6:30 am.

]]>I have attached the schedule for the day below along with directions to Wesleyan. All four gyms are located on Wesleyan's campus, but I am not 100% sure which gym is which. So, we will just all have to ask once we get there.
As for departure time, we will meet at the Spartan Center at 7:45 am on Saturday morning. The plan is to have breakfast food to take with us, so we will talk more about that in the coming days.

]]>This is going to be an important week, as we have our FIRST area match on Tuesday and a big playday on Saturday. I am so proud of our efforts this past week. Let's keep it up this week! If we do, we will be that much closer to putting ourselves in a position to accomplish our team goals for this year!
