5. Family: 3 brothers and 1 sister and I'm the middle child.

6. Memorable high school athletic moment:
Going to the New England prep school championships with my high school field hockey team in my senior year.

7. What was the color and model of your 1st car and what do you remember about it?
My first car was a 1988 Volvo 240 station wagon and I remember the sunroof leaked whenever it rained.

8. What is your “Special Spartan Moment?”
The phone call I received from Mr. Chambers telling me I had gotten the job.

9. What would you consider to be unique about Athens Academy?
I think being near the University of Georgia attracts a unique student and faculty body which in turn creates the unique, vibrant school community one senses from his or her first steps on campus.

10. What subject(s) do you teach?
10th grade English

11. What do you enjoy about your academic discipline?
I enjoy the fact that there is never a right or wrong answer in English, at least in the traditional sense, and this sense of freedom to explore ideas is really inspiring.
