Athens Academy @ Bremen

It was an incredible run for the baseball Spartans. A special group of young men came together and played outstanding baseball for the entire season. They overcame obstacles and played every game to the best of their abilities. They received extraordinary support from their families. For the state play-off games, every player had a parent at the game; some had siblings and grandparents. The coach’s father, brother and nephews came to cheer on the Spartans. At the conclusion of the double header, the parents gave the players a standing ovation to show their appreciation for the heart and determination they played with all year. All who are associated with this fantastic group of young men are very proud of them and all they accomplished.
