The Spartans looked impressive against the Lakeview Lions. Henry led off the seventh inning with a double and went to third on a wild pitch but the Spartans could not get the run home to tie the game. They once again played with heart and gave it their all, but came up just a little bit short.
The Spartans will travel to Tallulah Falls tomorrow for a 5:00 pm game. Hope to see you there!
Final Score: Athens Academy 8, Lakeview 9
