Sparbots Visit Fowler Dr. Elementary in Athens, Ga.

Walton EMC Presentation to Sparbots

On Wednesday, October 31st, Mr. Scott Walker from Walton EMC visited the Sparbots to explain how energy is used at Athens Academy. Walton EMC is a "non-profit electric utility that supplies power to ~77000 accounts in ten Northeast Georgia counties," including Athens Academy. Here are some pictures from his visit.

Ms. Swan expalins energy usage policy @ Athens Academy

Ms. Toni Swan gave a presentation to the Sparbots to explain how Athens Academy works hard to save energy whenever possible. Ms. Swan is the Director of the Business Office and believes in saving energy because "it is the right thing to do and it saves money."

Sparbots - 2007/2008 Team

The Athens Academy Middle School Sparbots team has started a season for 2007/2008. The team will be competing against over 200 teams in the Georgia FLL (FIRST Lego League) tournament(s). The theme of the competition this year is:
