The Fall Leads conference for Interact is on October 24th--a Saturday--at Lanier Technical College, again. We will need to leave here early. I have room for 13 members to go with me on the mini bus-always an adventure!

Get ready for these projects. The officers and I have met already and we are planning a great draft assembly.
First: We will be collecting new school supplies and gently used books (children's, text, whatever!) for a school in Monrovia, Liberia. Go ahead and stock pile them!
Second: We will be stuffing shoe boxes again for St. Bartholomew's in Haiti. We will need to get these done by mid October, so go ahead and start collecting items. I'll distribute the packing lists in our first meeting.

Hi all,
The MMO is going to be postponed due to construction in the LS! We're thinking of doing it April 25--it's prom day. What do you think? Let's chat at our next meeting.
Also, those 9 of you who are heading with us to the District Interact Awards Banquet this Saturday 3/21: We need to meet at the Spartan Center @ 12:30 to load our mini bus and head to Flowery Branch High School. I expect we will be home between 8 and 9 that evening, but tell your parents we'll call from the road. I can only take the 9 signed up, b/c I"ve paid for you. If you signed up and can't make it, please arrange to have someone take your place. It was $20 per person.
We are up for awards in 3 service projects and Interact Club of the year. Also, if you are interested in helping with the dessert competition, see Katie K.
Also, each of the 3 projects we entered need tri fold boards we can present at the banquet. One for shoeboxes, one for Project Pallam, and one for our videos from service day. Contact officers ASAP if you can help with that.
Finally, 4 of you can accompany me to Rotary on Monday 3/23. Let me know who is going so I can arrange to let you teachers and Mr. Sears know.
