Please see below for the schedule and to pre-order any of her books.

More about Ms. Cofer:
Judith Ortiz Cofer dedicates all of her books (and there are more than a dozen of them) to her family, sometimes to her mother, her daughter, her husband, or her grandparents by name, but sometimes simply to "my family here and on the Island." The island to which she refers is Puerto Rico, where she was born. Although she moved to the United States as a very young child, she returned to Puerto Rico often with her family, and the island's culture--and the challenge and blessing of living in and between two worlds--is the major theme of all of her work. Cofer writes for adults, teens and young readers, and is a novelist, essayist, short story writer and poet. She has taught literature and creative writing at the University of Georgia since 1984 and is currently the Franklin Professor of English and Creative Writing. Cofer was inducted into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in 2010. Her newest book, If I Could Fly, is for ages 12 and up, and tells the story of 15-year-old Doris whose parents are less dependable than the homing pigeons on the roof of their apartment building.
