In the interest of offering the Athens Academy community as many reading opportunities as possible, we now have two e-book readers for checkout in the Middle/Upper School Library, a Kindle and a Nook Touch. The Kindle will have titles for older teens and adults, and the Nook will be dedicated to middle school readers.
E-readers will check out for one week at a time, with one renewal possible if no one else is waiting. Students will need parental permission to check out the Kindle or the Nook. Here is the e-reader agreement: E-Reader Checkout Permission Form.docx. Parents, please print, sign and return the agreement for each of your children, or email Dr. Mandyck with your consent. Students need to sign the agreement too.
When you turn in the e-reader, we will ask you to fill out on optional survey on your e-reader experience. Additional feedback will be welcome at any time!
