Buddy Families
We are happy to report we have invited a number of wonderful students and families to join us for the 2009-2010 school year at Athens Academy. As we receive acceptances to our invitations, we would like our veteran families to consider acting as “buddy families” for our new families. “Buddy families” act as ambassadors in welcoming one of our new families to our Athens Academy community.
As a “buddy family”, we ask that you contact the new family and introduce yourself. We suggest that you make plans to get together with your new family, perhaps have a meal together or attend an event where they could meet other Athens Academy families.
Our students and our parents are our biggest asset in promoting the school and welcoming new families. If you are interested in acting as a “buddy family” for one of our new families, please contact Carrie Olson in the middle school.
