Book Order
Dear Middle School Parents:
Our textbook goals for the 2008-2009 school year remain the same: to provide the required materials in a timely and cost efficient manner.
To ensure that students have the specific required materials and in an effort to save our parents time and money, Middle School textbooks and supplies will be provided by Athens Academy and billed on the September 30 billing. On the first day of school, students will receive their books and supplies in their classrooms.
Middle School Textbook Program
1. All required books can be provided by the school. Athens Academy makes every effort to provide quality used textbooks as well as new books. Used textbooks may be returned for full credit or exchanged if they are not in appropriate condition.
2. The number of used textbooks available is limited. If a used option is available, it will list a price on the Used Column of your enclosed form. These are available on a first come, first serve basis.
3. Parents may purchase more than 1 copy if desired.
4. Purchased hardback books in excellent condition may be resold to the school at the end of the year if needed for inventory.
Instructions
1. Enclosed in this mailing is a list of your child’s courses, the required texts for each course, and where applicable, used and new purchase prices. Please indicate your selection as to whether you would like to purchase new or used by circling the price of your choice. If you wish to purchase used, you must circle that option. Please cross through any books which you already have or will obtain on your own. This will help control inventory costs and help keep prices down.
2. Please complete the enclosed form and return by July 25, 2008. To ensure that all students have the needed materials, each student will be supplied ALL books and supplies on his/her list if the order form is not marked through or completed. There will be a parcel post shipping fee charged for each book returned.
3. Order forms can be returned by mail, fax (706-354-3775), email (scanned or listed) or phoned in at 706-549-9225.
4. Textbook expenses will be reflected on the September 30, 2008 bill – due on November 1, 2008.
