Botanical Gardens

Volunteers work in virtually every area of the Garden, staffing the Gift Shop, information desk, library, and special events like plant sales and family festivals. Volunteers assist the horticulture staff, serve as tour guides, and work with special programs and projects—photography, label making, and trail interpretation to name just a few.

Interested in taking a stand against domestic violence and making a difference in the lives of victims? Become a Project Safe volunteer. Project Safe relies heavily on volunteers to provide a wide range of services to victims of domestic violence and their families.

Project Safe has training sessions for potential volunteers 3 times a year. One can be selected to volunteer at this organization after training and reference checks are completed.
